Before I started drugs I had a normal life, housewife, happy, independent and healthy. 20 years ago I had a tragedy in my life that made me turn to drugs for relief and was the start of my worse nightmare. I stopped caring about myself or others, I was numb inside and my self esteem was at its bottom. My career tumbled and I lost everything. All I cared about was getting my drugs I lived to use and used to live. I almost over dosed once, where I felt I was fading away but a friend helped get me back to life.

Now I have been off drugs for more than a year and I never want to look back. I started my own business, and now am a successful productive member of the society.
