Drug Treatment In Texas
Policy and Results
Nowadays the Texas school board organizes drug-testing programs for
those students who take part in choirs, dances, cheerleading, athletics or
even academic functions. Survey shows that drug use is found more in Texas
students. Higher usage is found in high and middle school students and
from the results, the government is literally taken aback. Now, ministers,
parents, teachers have come forward to tackle this serious issue and the
Texas task force is the best answer to it. This random testing approach
catches the kids during the drug abuse initial stages. If students are
tested positive during the first approach, and repeatedly for the second
time then their parents are notified and a joint meeting is conducted with
the school officials.
Some of the crack cocaine abusers are posing threat to the individual to
socio-cultural environment. However, evidence gathered shows that
pretreatment interventions reduce the treatment barriers.
