Out of State Patients:

Soft Landing understands that its unique philosophy and program may be appealing to patients outside the state of Illinois and hence we have agreed to include accommodation and transportations as part of our treatment package.

Out of state patients should be aware that they can only be admitted to our 30 day program which would start with induction in Illinois then patients leave the state with enough medication to last them through the 30 day period along with the detoxification protocol. If patients need to be on Suboxone for more than 30 days a follow up appointment in Illinois will be offered otherwise patient should seek medical attention in their home state if they do not wish to come back. A list of Suboxone providers in the home state will be furnished if requested.

Prior to contacting us please be advised that Soft Landing complies with state laws of telemedicine and hence we do not practice medicine across state lines. Once out of state patients leave Illinois Soft Landing and its staff will not provide any of the following services:
1- Prescribe refills of medications (unless patient comes back for a follow up in IL)
2- Medical advice except for explanation of the detoxification protocol and continuing education about the treatment plan.
3- Consultation about any new or changed condition, however direction and referral may be provided.
4- Tele-counseling unless referred by their physician at their home state (if their state laws allow such exception).

Detoxification is only the first step in treatment and all out of state patients are advised to continue a comprehensive rehabilitation program after they return to their home state, including individual counseling, group therapy, didactic group sessions and 12 step programs.
