Administration/Dosage of Norco
Norco is available as a tablet or as capsules. Both of these are meant for oral administration. The tablets or capsules are to be consumed whole with an entire glass of water. In some cases, taking Norco plain will cause stomach upsets. In order to avoid that, the tablets of capsules must be taken with food or milk.
Dosages are determined under prescription. The dosage for adults is
different from the dosage for children. With children, special care might be
required for administering the drug.
Norco can cause side-effects if the dosage is increased suddenly. Hence, if
one dose is missed, no attempt should be made to rectify it by taking a
double dose. If only a short time has elapsed after missing a dose, then the
dose can be taken at that time. But a double dose of Norco should never be
taken.
