Administration/Dosage of Pentazocine
Pentazocine is administered as an injection or as oral pills. The injections are meant for intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous administration. The injection carries a suspension of Pentazocine in the form of its lactate. The dosage is staggered during the day, at three to four hour intervals, but is not meant to exceed 360 milligrams in a single day.
The orally administered tablets are generically available on

taken with water to dilute their effects, or they might cause
gastrointestinal problems.
Dosages for children are different from those of adults. Hence, the
